In order to absorb the stress caused by the heavy physical exertion, add 32 to 40 percent protein to the feed, depending on the degree of exertion.
Vitamins B1, B6 and B12 also lower the stress level. Omega-3 fatty acids improve oxygen exchange in the blood and may reduce inflammation caused by physical exertion.
